Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports with 100% accuracy
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Conduct detailed financial audits and variance analysis to identify optimization opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and oversee cash flow management
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and MS Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP)
- Proven track record of managing complex financial audits and compliance projects
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate financial data into strategic insights
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA) or actively pursuing certification
