Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end/quarter-end close procedures
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis initiatives
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial reporting and audits
- Implement process improvements using accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite)
- Ensure tax compliance and support external audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros
- Experience with accounting ERP systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
