Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policy.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and supporting documentation for external audits.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize financial reporting processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries and supporting schedules.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to management to support business decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree or CPA/CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
- Strong working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting with strong time management and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high accuracy.
- Willingness to travel for team events (optional).
