Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Lead audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors for seamless compliance
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls for operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Ensure adherence to GAAP and regulatory requirements across all financial activities
- Mentor junior staff and optimize accounting workflows for scalability
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate exposure
- Expert proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite) and MS Excel
- Proven track record in month-end close and financial statement preparation
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls frameworks
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
