Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle accounting processes including month-end closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Manage complex tax compliance for corporate and individual clients
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend strategic improvements
- Lead audit preparation and liaise with external auditors
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and ERP systems
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure regulatory compliance
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis for executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate finance
- CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA designation
- Expert proficiency in GAAP and tax regulations (federal/state)
- Advanced Excel skills with data analysis capabilities
- Experience with QuickBooks, SAP, or equivalent ERP systems
