Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict compliance with GAAP standards.
- Account Reconciliation: Manage daily bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Payroll Management: Assist in the end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accurate tax withholdings and deductions.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the budget preparation process and provide variance analysis to executive management.
- Compliance: Maintain accurate financial records and ensure adherence to local and federal regulations.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and implement best practices for efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a major plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Software: Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage; advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) are essential.
