Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, variance reports, and budget forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, GAAP, and local tax regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of annual financial audits and tax filings.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions with system records.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and operational support.
- Implement and maintain accounting software and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote work environment.
