As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of our organization and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and support external audits.
- Perform variance analysis and financial forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
- Streamline internal financial processes and implement best practices for efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
