Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance commentary
- Manage complex month-end and year-end closing processes
- Lead accounts payable/receivable operations for 50+ clients
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Develop and implement financial controls and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting
- Manage tax preparation and filing for corporate entities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online and NetSuite
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with pivot tables/VBA
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Proven experience with multi-state compliance
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Remote work experience with demonstrated self-discipline
