Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and schedules.
- Oversee bank reconciliations and ensure all financial controls are functioning correctly.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management to support strategic decision-making.
- Maintain and update the general ledger system with precision.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is highly desirable.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of US tax laws, GAAP, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
