Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Prepare complex financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) adhering to GAAP/IFRS standards
- Lead internal audits and collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance
- Develop and maintain robust financial models for forecasting and budgeting
- Optimize accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite) for efficiency and accuracy
- Mentor junior accountants and implement process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and ERP systems
- Proven track record of managing multi-state tax compliance
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
