Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger reconciliation
- Coordinate external audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Develop and implement financial controls and process improvements
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives for department heads
- Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel/Power BI
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and Arizona tax regulations
- Proven experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
