Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and ensure timely processing
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements for operational efficiency
- Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate financial records using NetSuite ERP platform
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in NetSuite, Excel, and accounting software
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance and audit preparation
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication abilities for cross-functional collaboration
