Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process optimization and internal controls
- Conduct audits and ensure regulatory compliance for California-based operations
- Maintain accurate financial records using SAP and advanced Excel modeling
- Provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership for decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and California financial regulations
- Advanced proficiency in SAP, QuickBooks, and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Proven ability to manage remote teams and virtual collaboration tools
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
