Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end/quarter-end close procedures
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and investment portfolios
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Experience with remote work tools and virtual collaboration platforms
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
