Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and variance reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and state-specific Nevada tax laws
- Lead audits and coordinate with external accounting firms
- Implement and improve accounting systems and internal controls
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvements
- Support business expansion initiatives through financial modeling
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, or similar ERP platforms
- Strong knowledge of Nevada tax regulations and multi-state compliance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation highly valued
- Proven experience in audit preparation and financial analysis
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
