Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for Indianapolis and Virginia clients
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and state-specific requirements
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives to support strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controls
- Conduct internal audits and implement corrective actions
- Maintain accurate financial records using advanced ERP systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Expertise in GAAP, tax preparation, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for client interactions and team collaboration
- Proven experience serving clients in Indianapolis or Virginia markets
