As a key member of our finance department, you will bridge the gap between data and decision-making, ensuring our clients' financial health is robust and compliant.
Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict compliance with GAAP.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and collections.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and implement controls to mitigate financial risks effectively.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize budgeting and forecasting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a professional setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with excellent communication skills.
