Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Manage general ledger activities, including reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and variance analysis.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and forecast, providing insights to senior management.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proven experience with financial reporting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks) and Excel (Advanced/VP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data.
- Self-motivated individual capable of working independently in a remote setting.
