Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and corporate policies.
- Account Reconciliation: Perform detailed reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage the full cycle of A/P and A/R processes, ensuring timely processing and resolution of discrepancies.
- Compliance & Auditing: Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and supporting evidence.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process optimization within the finance department to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
- Budgeting: Support the budget preparation process and provide variance analysis to senior management.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain high accuracy in high-volume environments.
- Work Environment: Ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid setting with reliable high-speed internet.
