As a key member of our accounting department, you will oversee daily financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial data. We offer a hybrid work model, allowing you the flexibility to work from home or our New York office.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage general ledger activities, including account reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and external auditors.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Master’s in Accounting (MAcc) preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
