Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize general ledger operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for executive stakeholders
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with rigorous attention to detail
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights to leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely processing of transactions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and cost analysis
- Spearhead internal controls implementation and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA strongly preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in corporate or public accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel with VBA knowledge
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, tax compliance, and audit support
- Proven ability to manage complex financial projects in remote settings
- Exceptional analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for presenting financial data to non-finance leadership
