Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
- Ensure accurate and timely tax filings and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing variance analysis and insights to senior management.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve internal controls and financial reporting efficiency.
- Conduct internal audits and assist external auditors during year-end reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior-level capacity.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Must be authorized to work in the USA and reside in the Fresno, CA area.
