Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with detailed variance analysis
- Oversee tax compliance processes and coordinate with external auditors
- Implement and improve internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Analyze financial data to support strategic business decisions
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate accounting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, or similar cloud accounting platforms
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and SOX compliance requirements
- Advanced Excel skills with experience in financial modeling and data analysis
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment
