Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements with detailed variance reporting
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP/AR, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations
- Oversee tax compliance filings and ensure adherence to GAAP and IRS regulations
- Develop and implement financial controls to optimize operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and strategic financial planning
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain robust internal controls and support external audit processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate accounting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel (advanced functions), and ERP systems
- Proven track record in managing full-cycle accounting operations and financial reporting
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, IRS regulations, and Texas state tax requirements
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills for presenting complex financial information
