Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs aligned with federal/state regulations (e.g., SOX, GDPR, CCPA)
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify compliance gaps
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for executive leadership and regulatory bodies
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams to address regulatory changes
- Train employees on compliance policies and ethical standards
- Investigate potential violations and recommend corrective actions
- Stay updated on industry regulations and emerging compliance trends
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Law, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of compliance experience in tech or financial services
- Strong knowledge of CA and federal regulatory frameworks
- Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) certification required
- Proficient in compliance software (e.g., RSA Archer, MetricStream)
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
