Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for internal stakeholders and external audits
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely processing of transactions
- Develop and implement financial controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Lead process improvement projects to enhance efficiency in financial operations
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, or similar ERP systems
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for presenting complex financial data
- Proven experience in process optimization and financial controls implementation
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision
