Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closes and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Lead audit preparation and compliance with GAAP/SEC regulations
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls and accounting systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven experience with multi-state tax filings and payroll systems
- Strong communication skills for presenting financial insights to stakeholders
