We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Charlotte, NC. As a fully remote role, you will have the flexibility to work from home while contributing to our company's financial health and growth strategy.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
- Manage general ledger activities, including reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and intercompany transactions.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial reports, variance analyses, and budget projections for executive leadership.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, including assisting with tax filings and audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting workflows and improve data visibility.
- Mentor junior accounting staff and provide guidance on complex accounting issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a remote or hybrid work environment.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Deep understanding of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
