Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvement
- Prepare and submit accurate tax filings, compliance reports, and regulatory documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Maintain and optimize internal controls to ensure SOX compliance and data integrity
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes and vendor relationship management
- Develop and implement accounting automation solutions using ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with 2+ years in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite) and MS Excel (VBA, Power Query)
- Proven experience with remote work and self-directed project management
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present to executive leadership
