Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and general ledger reconciliation
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
- Implement process improvements for financial reporting efficiency
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 3+ years of experience
- CPA certification or active pursuit required
- Expertise in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar accounting software
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance (MD/VA preferred)
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for remote collaboration
