As a key member of our finance team, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our financial integrity and driving strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of all financial data.
- Assist with the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Conduct internal audits and recommend improvements to internal control procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Provide detailed financial reporting to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial reporting.
- Proven proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting methodologies.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to present complex data clearly.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with a high degree of self-discipline.
