Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Prepare and present financial statements, budgets, and variance analyses
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial strategy and planning
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and ERP systems
- Lead special projects including audits and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Expertise in GAAP, month-end close procedures, and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (Sage 100/300 a plus)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proven experience managing accounts payable/receivable and reconciliations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial insights clearly
