Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with precision and timeliness
- Conduct detailed variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights to stakeholders
- Manage and optimize accounts payable/receivable cycles with automated workflows
- Oversee tax compliance filings and support external audit engagements
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure financial integrity
- Mentor junior accountants using our cloud-based training platform
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate settings
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and multi-state tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage complex financial projects with competing deadlines
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in financial modeling and forecasting
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for stakeholder presentations
- Remote work experience with demonstrated self-discipline and time management
