Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and industry-specific regulations
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls and accounting processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Mentor junior accountants and provide technical guidance on complex accounting matters
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and advanced Excel functions
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and tax compliance
- Proven ability to lead month-end close processes and audits
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities
