Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for Illinois-based clients
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and Illinois state regulations
- Develop financial models and forecasting reports for strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial projects
- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of accounting experience with Illinois-based clients
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and Illinois tax regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
