Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide strategic insights to executive leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes with 99.8% accuracy metrics
- Prepare and file quarterly tax returns and maintain compliance with GAAP/FASB standards
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance financial reporting efficiency
- Mentor junior accountants using our structured career development framework
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (Power Pivot)
- Proven expertise in complex financial reporting and multi-state compliance
- Certification in financial systems (e.g., Oracle Financials) highly desirable
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail in high-volume environments
- Strong communication abilities for presenting financial insights to non-finance stakeholders
