- Manage monthly/quarterly financial close processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements and regulatory filings
- Analyze financial performance variances and provide actionable insights
- Lead internal audits and SOX compliance initiatives
- Develop and optimize accounting workflows using ERP systems
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-functional teams
- Collaborate on budget forecasting and strategic financial planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or MBA strongly preferred
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in month-end close, consolidation, and intercompany accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel modeling
- Deep understanding of GAAP, SOX, and SEC reporting requirements
- Proven ability to manage complex financial projects remotely
