Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow management
- Lead tax compliance initiatives including sales tax filings and payroll tax reporting
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure financial accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Maintain GAAP compliance and accounting documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience with remote work protocols and self-management
