Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger accounts, bank reconciliations, and month-end close procedures
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with detailed commentary
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions
- Conduct financial audits and compliance reviews to align with GAAP and industry standards
- Develop and implement financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and controls
- Lead special projects including tax preparations and regulatory reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Proven ability to manage complex financial projects with minimal supervision
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills for presenting financial insights to stakeholders
