Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations for diverse client portfolios
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements (GAAP/IFRS)
- Lead month-end/year-end closing processes with reconciliation
- Develop tax strategies and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Implement process improvements using accounting software (QuickBooks/NetSuite)
- Collaborate with auditors during compliance reviews
- Mentor junior accountants on best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of public/private accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Deep knowledge of US tax code and DC regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
