Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely processing
- Prepare detailed financial statements and variance analyses for leadership
- Implement and optimize internal controls to maintain compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and strategic planning
- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle experience preferred)
- Lead audit processes and coordinate with external auditors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA strongly preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Demonstrated success in month-end close and financial reporting
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication abilities for remote stakeholder collaboration
- Proactive problem-solving with minimal supervision
