Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Analyze financial statements and variance reports to provide actionable insights
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Lead internal audits and implement process improvements for financial controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Prepare tax documentation and support external audit requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in corporate environments
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and SOX controls
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder reporting
