Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end closing
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with a focus on accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Lead reconciliation activities for bank accounts, investments, and balance sheet accounts
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Ensure adherence to GAAP standards and industry-specific regulations
- Support annual audits and tax preparation processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems
- Advanced Excel skills with experience in pivot tables and financial modeling
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax compliance requirements
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage competing deadlines in a remote environment
