Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and maintain accurate general ledger entries
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for diverse client portfolios
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and industry-specific regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement financial controls to mitigate risks and enhance efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparations
- Maintain client relationships through proactive financial consultations and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance and payroll processing
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interactions
- Ability to thrive in remote work environments with self-discipline and time management
