Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance and month-end close
- Prepare accurate financial statements and regulatory compliance reports
- Analyze variance reports and provide actionable financial insights
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and payroll coordination
- Implement internal controls and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in remote settings
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience with multi-state tax compliance
