Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and optimize cash flow operations
- Prepare detailed financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in compliance with GAAP
- Lead internal audits and collaborate with external auditors during annual reviews
- Develop and implement financial controls to ensure regulatory compliance
- Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making
- Maintain fixed asset ledgers and depreciation schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in tech/FinTech
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and advanced Excel functions
- Proven experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
