Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting including GL maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead audit preparations and coordinate with external auditors
- Develop and implement process improvements for accounting workflows
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis initiatives
- Maintain internal controls and SOX compliance documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial reporting and strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite) and MS Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven experience managing remote teams and virtual collaboration
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental engagement
