Responsibilities
- Oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and corporate policies.
- Manage general ledger reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing variance analysis to management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and special projects.
- Maintain accurate fixed asset records and manage depreciation schedules.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
