Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15-20 diverse business clients
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes with 100% accuracy
- Lead tax compliance initiatives and coordinate with external auditors
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (NetSuite/Sage)
- Mentor junior accountants and conduct financial training workshops
- Develop KPI dashboards for executive decision-making support
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, tax regulations, and SOX compliance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and ERP platforms
- Proven track record of managing high-volume transaction processing
- Strong analytical skills with data interpretation experience
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder presentations
- Active Oregon CPA license or willingness to obtain within 6 months
